Why SSL is Required
SSL encrypts connections via HTTPS. Browsers mark non-SSL sites as "Not Secure" and Google prioritizes HTTPS sites in rankings.
Installing SSL in CyberPanel
- Log in to CyberPanel (
https://server-ip:8090) - Go to Websites → List Websites
- Click Manage next to your domain
- Click Issue SSL
- A "SSL issued successfully" message appears in seconds
Prerequisites
- Domain A record must point to your server IP
- DNS must have propagated (24-48 hours)
- Ports 80 and 443 must be open
