How to Connect via FTP Using FileZilla
FileZilla FTP Guide
Download FileZilla from filezilla-project.org (free and open source).
Connection Details
- Host: yourdomain.com or server IP
- Username: Your cPanel username
- Password: Your hosting password
- Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP - recommended)
Steps
- Open FileZilla
- File menu - Site Manager - New Site
- Set Protocol to SFTP
- Enter connection details and click Connect
- Navigate to public_html to manage website files
